Spent this last weekend showering Scooby with all the love, just as we always do. Long walks, endless playtime, lots of toys, pool days, beach visits, and peanut butter. We’ve made the most of every moment together since picking Scooby up on May 22.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding things but it’s also one of the hardest because we know our time together is temporary. Our job is to love him, help him, and prepare him for his new forever family he deserves.

The hardest part is saying goodbye to Scooby because hes been part of our days but our hearts are so full knowing Scooby has a new home I'm taking him to tonight. Wishing him a lifetime of love, happiness, adventures, and all the belly rubs he deserves. We’ll miss you, sweet boy. ❤️🐾

Took my poor baby foster, Scooby, to vet and after running tests and it’s kennel cough 🐾He’s on the mend after a high fever but the vet bill is costly.

I don’t ask for help bc fostering and covering costs when others couldn’t is my choice but if you’re interested in helping pls pm me✅ if you can’t, no worries, thanks for checking in on Scooby🙏🏽

Sadly, a handful of dedicated volunteers in a specific area cannot solve a problem created by an entire community.

They can help. They can make a difference. They can save lives.

But lasting change happens when people start addressing the behaviors that created the problem in the first place.

👉 Don't leave your pets unsterilized!
👉 Don't give away free kittens without ensuring they're sterilized, while the mother cat continues producing litter after litter.
👉 Be an advocate: Let people know about resources that exist in their community.

Imagine what could be accomplished if more people in every community stepped up to help. If you're passionate about helping cats, join the people doing the work. That's where real change begins. 😻
