Erin Mericle has been a Navy spouse for more than 16 years. During that time, she's experienced the uncertainty that comes with deployments, the friendships that form when families lean on one another, and the quiet moments when a simple message or helping hand can make all the difference.
Over the years, Erin has spent countless hours bringing military families together, organizing community events, connecting families with resources, coordinating volunteer efforts, and creating spaces where people felt welcomed and supported. Those experiences shaped the foundation of Operation Homefront Warriors.
What began as an effort to support a single deployment quickly grew into something much bigger. Today, Operation Homefront Warriors works to bring together local businesses, volunteers, and community members to support deployed service members and military families through fundraising, outreach, and morale-building initiatives.
Erin believes the strongest support network isn't built by one person, it's built by a community that chooses to show up for one another. Her hope is that Operation Homefront Warriors becomes a place where anyone can make a difference, no matter how big or small their contribution.

Katie Howes is the Co-Founder of Operation Homefront Warriors and a proud military family member. Watching the sacrifices made by service members and their families inspired her to become part of something that gives people a meaningful way to show their appreciation.
Katie enjoys building relationships within the community and helping turn ideas into action. Whether she's coordinating volunteers, reaching out to local businesses, helping organize fundraising events, or simply lending a hand wherever it's needed, she believes every person has something valuable to offer.
For Katie, Operation Homefront Warriors is about bringing people together for a shared purpose and reminding military families that their community is standing beside them every step of the way.

Our mission goes beyond collecting donations. We build partnerships with local businesses, organize fundraising events, coordinate volunteers, and create opportunities for people to give back in ways that make a real difference.
Whether it's a community fundraiser, a donation drive, a letter-writing campaign, or a future morale initiative, every project is rooted in the same belief: service members should know their community stands behind them, and military families should never feel like they're walking this journey alone.
