💛 The 2nd Annual Fourth & Gold Glow Walk is coming back to Jacksonville.

Last year, more than 100 people joined us on the Fuller Warren Bridge to show their support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. This year, we’re doing it again—because childhood cancer deserves attention, awareness, and a community that shows up.

For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’ll come together to light the Fuller Warren Bridge gold. The Glow Walk is FREE and open to everyone. Wear gold, bring a gold flashlight or light, and help us make Jacksonville shine bright for childhood cancer.

We are SO excited to introduce another incredible guest speaker for Fourth and Gold's 3rd Annual Golden Gala on November 12, Gracie Berglund 💛✨

Unfortunately, Gracie is no stranger to the childhood cancer community. Her brother, Jake, was diagnosed with ALL in 2018. After relapsing in 2020, Jake passed away on Easter morning that same year, leaving behind a legacy of love that continues to inspire Gracie’s passion for advocacy and her commitment to families affected by childhood cancer.

Since Jake’s passing, Gracie has channeled her grief into something incredibly powerful: advocacy, action, and a relentless fight for better treatment options for children with cancer. She is a fierce and passionate voice in the childhood cancer community, carrying Jake’s memory with her every step of the way and working to ensure that his story continues to make a difference.

Gracie's advocacy aligns so closely with the mission of Fourth and Gold: fighting for better treatment options, better outcomes, and a future where children diagnosed with cancer have more options and more hope.

✨ Meet Sloane Stadt, one of the incredible voices joining us at our Fourth and Gold's 3rd Annual Golden Gala this November! ✨

In 2020, Sloane was diagnosed with pediatric AML. At just 4 years old, she faced multiple rounds of chemotherapy and ultimately received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister, Charlotte. 💗

Now, Sloane is coming up on an incredible 6 years off treatment with no evidence of disease! 🎉

Today, Sloane is a vibrant, energetic, life-of-the-party 10-year-old who brings joy everywhere she goes. She loves giving back to the childhood cancer community, helping other families along their journeys, and, if you ask her, she’s got dance moves for days! 💃✨

We are so honored to have Sloane share her story and her incredible spirit as a guest speaker at our Gala. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the strength, hope, and resilience found in the childhood cancer community and the impact that research has on lives.

6 years of getting together, throwing some bags, and raising money for childhood cancer research.

We started this tournament because kids and families facing childhood cancer deserve better treatment options and ultimately, a cure. What started as a little ole’ co****le tournament with 10 teams has become one of the ways we help make that happen.

Because of events like this and the people who continue to show up for them, we’ve funded more than $550,000 for childhood cancer research.

Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer. This September, you have the opportunity to help turn awareness into action simply by doing what you do best: serving your community.

Here are just a few fun ways to GO GOLD:
✨Create a gold-themed drink, dessert, or featured item
✨Have your staff wear Fourth and Gold awareness ribbons
✨Decorate your storefront or business in gold
✨Set up a donation jar or awareness display
✨Share why childhood cancer awareness matters on your social media

It doesn't matter if you're a coffee shop, restaurant, brewery, boutique, gym, salon, office, or local business, every business has the power to make an impact.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month we're inviting high schools and middle schools to Go Gold with Fourth and Gold. 💛🏈 We had over 50 schools in multiple states participate last year and we're hoping to exceed that!

Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, yet childhood cancer receives only 4% of federal research funding. Awareness matters because awareness leads to conversations, advocacy, and ultimately, hope for better treatments and cures.

For families living in the middle of childhood cancer, seeing an entire school wear gold, coaches wearing ribbons, players running onto the field with awareness stickers on their helmets, and fans recognizing Childhood Cancer Awareness Month reminds them they aren't fighting alone. It tells every child in treatment that their community sees them, supports them, and is standing beside them.

Every fourth down play becomes an opportunity to remind fans why we fight: for the kids who are battling today, the survivors, and the angels we will never forget.

Schools that participate will receive a Go Gold Awareness Kit complete with helmet stickers, gold ribbons, awareness materials, and more to help make your game night meaningful. (See flyer for participation levels and pricing.)
