Tomorrow is the last day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and every year, we find ourselves thinking the same thing: what happens on October 1st?

The diagnoses don’t stop, the grief doesn’t stop, the fear doesn’t stop and the scars don’t disappear.

For an entire month, we ask the world to look at childhood cancer, to learn the names, to hear the stories and to see the faces behind the statistics, but for so many families, this isn’t a month. It’s every day.

Parents shouldn’t have to keep telling the story of the child they lost just to keep their memory alive.

Survivors shouldn’t have to carry their scars and then carry the responsibility of educating everyone else.

Families shouldn’t have to fight this hard to make sure childhood cancer isn’t forgotten.

So when September ends, we don’t stop.
We keep saying their names. We keep showing up.
We keep funding research. We keep fighting for better treatments and better outcomes and we keep making sure these kids are more than a statistic.

September may be ending, but our fight isn’t. 💛
Stand with us, fight with us, demand more than 4% with us.

The Golden Gala is more than dinner, dancing, and getting dressed up. It’s a night where our community comes together for children and families facing childhood cancer, and to help fund the research that gives them more hope for tomorrow.

We love our Chick-Fil-A Amelia Island family so much. When everyone else’s world keeps spinning, they never forget the reason why we started Fourth and Gold and have always honored our Jake💛 It means so much to us.

We miss you 🐝, forever buzzing on.

Once again, Nassau County showed up and showed out to support our local families and Fourth and Gold to fight against childhood cancer!

Emails have been sent out to all volunteers who registered for the Gold Ribbon Handout tomorrow at the Jacksonville Jaguars game and here is a reminder of our day🏈

A huge thank you to everyone volunteering with Fourth and Gold to help us spread awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! 💛

📍 Meet us at the Miller Electric Center statue
⏰ 9:00 AM

This is where you’ll pick up your gold ribbons before heading out to hand them out to fans.

Parking: Parking is paid and available at surrounding garages and open lots around the stadium. With all the construction happening downtown, we recommend getting there a little early to give yourself plenty of time to park and make your way over. Please stick around after picking up your ribbons for a quick group picture before dispersing.

Just a reminder: you are NOT asking for donations or handouts. This is simply about spreading awareness and showing support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the children and families affected by childhood cancer. 💛🎗️

We are so grateful for every one of you who is giving your time to help make a difference. Fourth and Gold truly appreciates you!
