🎉 Happy New Year to the entire TKS family! Here’s to growth, healing, and continued impact in the year ahead. 💙

As we reflect on this past year, we want to take a moment to thank every supporter, follower, volunteer, and donor who has stood with TKS America. The love, encouragement, and trust you’ve shown us has meant more than words can express.

Like any mission-driven organization, we’ve faced challenges and moments of negativity, but through it all, your support reminded us why we do this work. Because of you, we’ve been able to continue showing up for families, advocating for those who need a voice, and building something rooted in compassion and purpose.

As we step into the new year, we are excited for new opportunities, new initiatives, and meaningful events on the horizon. Please continue to follow our page and stay connected, we have some exciting things coming up, and we would love for our supporters and the TKS family to attend and be part of what’s next.

Thank you for every donation, every share, every message of encouragement, and every act of kindness. Your support fuels this mission and makes the work possible.

Merry Christmas to Matt, Brian, and Javina!!
So grateful to spend time gifting these amazing kids and sharing some holiday cheer from TKS. A few years ago they lost their father to homicide, and life changed in the hardest way, but today was about bringing back smiles, laughter, and a little Christmas magic. Matt and Brian are such sweet, silly, goofy boys, and Javina is absolutely beautiful inside and out. These kids deserve all the joy.

And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to TKS this past week, because of you, we were able to make this moment and bring Christmas cheer to these kids. Your generosity truly matters. ❤️🎄

Tell Somebody!!!!! And don’t stop until someone hears you.

Tell Somebody!!!!! And don’t stop until someone hears you.

I was sexually assaulted by my mom’s friend, who babysat us, and later by my bio father.
I was 5, when my mom’s friend watched my 2 brothers and I one night at his house, where he lived with his mom. When it was bedtime, he had my brothers lay on the floor and me on the bed with him. When my brothers went to sleep, my mother’s friend lifted my nightgown and he touched my privates. I cried, and he covered my mouth and hushed me, and told me everything was OK. I ended up telling my mom what happened that night, and she took me into the bathroom and downloaded a lie detector test on her phone. The test said I was lying, so she didn't believe me and said he's been a trusted friend. I later found out he abused more kids. The elementary school I went to, he used to babysit other kids and pick them up from school, just like he did to me and my brothers. He had a bike with a wagon, where he hauled kids home. She ended up losing custody of us, and that’s when our s***m donor got us in his hands. I told him what happened to me, and he said "I'll kill him if I ever see him, how dare someone hurt my little girl.” One year later, my s***m donor was giving me a bath, when he began to wash my body with his hands, instead of the loofah he usually used. He touched my privates, but I was young and thought all dads washed their kids like this. More happened, I just can't remember it all.
On my 11th birthday, I went swimming. When I took a shower to wash off the chlorine, my s***m donor walked in because he said he had to use the restroom. I can only remember lying on my back, on a white towel on the bathroom floor, with blood under me. When I was in middle school, our family stayed with friends until we got on our feet. Us 3 kids stayed on a bunkbed, and a mattress on the floor. But none of us liked sleeping on the floor, cause the house was infested with rats and they would crawl on us at night. It was just too, much, so often times my s***m donor would have me sleep in a tent with him and his girlfriend, outside. When his girlfriend would leave to watch TV in the house, it was basically free game for him and he’d abuse me. I’d lie and say I was scared of the dark or it was too cold, but he would come get me out of the house and bring me to the tent anyways. Nothing felt right, and I always woke up hurting down there. A zebra printed blanket on the air mattress, empty alcohol bottles, used condoms and trash everywhere. I didn't know until years later, that those condoms had my self worth drenched in them. He never used a condom on his girlfriend, those were all for me. How did I not know, or at least remember any of it? I just remember the pain after. Thankfully he is in prison, facing 26 years to life. It just sucks that I couldn’t be the one to put him there. I guess someone saw one of the incidents, and reported it to someone. I am 17 years old now, almost 18 in March, and me and my 2 brothers are healthy and happy, no longer being controlled or feeling unwanted.

🌟 Advocating for Our Youth. Even When They Feel Lost 🌟

If there is one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s that our youth don’t just need to be found physically… they need to be found spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
They need people who show up, who listen, who guide, and who remind them that their story is not over.

Back in April of this year, I was contacted by a mother whose daughter had run away.
She was scared.
She was vulnerable.
She was in danger.

And even though she left by choice, that never changed the fact that she was a child who needed guidance, protection, and someone to speak life into her when she couldn’t hear her own worth.

We searched.
We prayed.
We fought for her.
And God covered her every step of the way.

Today… she is thriving.
She is safe.
She is growing into a beautiful young woman inside and out.
And now, she is getting ready to start high school with a fresh perspective and a fresh chance at life.

I am SO proud of her.
Proud of her strength.
Proud of her growth.
Proud of the way she allowed love, guidance, and God’s grace to reach her heart.

This is why we advocate.
This is why we show up.
Because sometimes all a child needs is for someone to say:

✨ “You matter.”
✨ “You are safe now.”
✨ “Your life has purpose.”
✨ “You are not walking this journey alone.”

To every youth struggling, searching, hurting, or feeling unseen, we see you.
And to every parent fighting for their child
you’re not alone.

May God continue to guide our steps as we stand in the gap for our youth.
May He protect them, strengthen them, and lead them back to themselves.

This is the work.
This is the calling.
And this is the heart behind everything we do. 💛

🌿 Update: Celebration of Life for Kayla Bailey — Location Change Due to Weather 🌿
December 6th • 1:30 PM

Due to the expected weather on Saturday, we have decided to move the Celebration of Life for Kayla Bailey from Stinson Park to Stockton Park to ensure better space, parking, and weather coverage.

📍 New Location — Stockton Park
4021 Ortega Blvd
Jacksonville, FL 32210
United States

We have rented a large white event tent for everyone’s comfort. However, we kindly encourage guests to bring umbrellas, personal pop-up tents, and their own chairs just in case additional coverage is needed. We will be providing food and refreshments. We are aware of the bathroom situation. There are places near by to go to the restrooms. We apologize for the inconvenience

This gathering continues to be lovingly organized by the caregivers of Kayla’s children and her closest friends. It is intended for close friends, family, and members of Kayla’s photography family who wish to come together, uplift one another, and honor Kayla’s beautiful life.

🤍 The caregivers also hope to create a permanent memorial site for Kayla’s children to visit and remember their mother once everything has settled. Anyone who would like to contribute toward this future memorial is welcome to do so on the day of the Celebration of Life.

Thank you for your understanding, your compassion, and for keeping Kayla’s children and caregivers in your prayers during this time.
