🏆⚾💰 MONEY BALL CHAMPIONS OF THE WEEK: JACOB & OLIVER! 💰⚾🏆

This week’s 910-Sports Money Ball competition gave us one of the closest finishes we’ve had all season, and even after an extra round, we still couldn’t separate these two!

During the preliminary round, Jacob and Oliver both put together fantastic performances, finishing with 7 points each. With first place completely deadlocked, there was only one thing left to do…

🔥 SUDDEN VICTORY! 🔥

In the Sudden Victory Round, each player received three more balls and one final opportunity to put points on the board and claim the championship outright.

Three balls. One final round. The championship on the line.

Jacob stepped up and delivered.

Oliver stepped up and answered.

And when the final ball had been thrown and the points were counted…

THEY TIED AGAIN! 😂🏆

That’s right. After both players scored 7 points in the preliminary round, they went head-to-head again in Sudden Victory and somehow finished in another draw!

At that point, there was only one decision to make:

WE HAVE TWO CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏆

Jacob and Oliver officially finish the week tied for first place and BOTH walk away with the grand prize of a crisp $1 bill each! 💵😂

But let’s be serious for a second…

The dollar is nice, but everybody knows what these kids are really competing for.

They both get the opportunity to walk away holding the most coveted title in all of Little League baseball today: The 910-Sports Money Ball Championship Belt! 🏆🔥

Forget the World Series trophy. Forget MVP awards. Forget Gold Gloves.

Around here, there is only one title that matters.

😂 THE MONEY BALL CHAMPIONSHIP BELT! 😂

And this week, it took TWO belts because neither Jacob nor Oliver was willing to give the other one the championship!

What made this competition so much fun was watching both players continue to battle. They stayed focused, handled the pressure, and kept giving their best every time they stepped up. Neither player backed down, and even when we gave them another opportunity to settle it, they remained completely even.

Sometimes Money Ball gives us a clear champion.

Sometimes we need Sudden Victory.

And apparently, sometimes Sudden Victory ends in a tie too! 😂

Congratulations to Jacob and Oliver, your newest 910-Sports Money Ball Champions!

7 points each.
A Sudden Victory draw.
$1 each.
Two championship belts.
Two champions. 🏆🏆

Enjoy it, boys. You earned every bit of it!

The most coveted championship in Little League baseball belongs to Jacob & Oliver this week! 💰⚾🏆

Oliver came into the competition ready to go, stayed focused, and put together an incredible performance from start to finish. When everything was said and done, he finished with an impressive 10 BIG POINTS and officially dethroned our back-to-back Money Ball Champion! 🔥⚾

Taking down a two-time defending champion is no small accomplishment. The belt had been successfully defended for two straight weeks, but Oliver showed up ready for the challenge and did exactly what he needed to do to bring that championship reign to an end.

There is just something special about watching these kids get excited when that belt comes out. They compete, they encourage one another, they celebrate each other, and most importantly, they have a ton of fun doing it. That is exactly what the Money Ball Game is all about.

Kade came into this week’s competition with the championship belt already around his waist, and he made sure it stayed there. With 10 BIG POINTS, Kade successfully defended his title and once again finished at the top of the leaderboard!

That officially makes Kade another back-to-back champion in the history of the 910-Sports Money Ball game! Winning the belt once is already a huge accomplishment, but coming back the very next week with everyone trying to take your spot and successfully defending it makes the victory that much sweeter.

Saturdays are for baseball, which means Sundays are for cleaning! ⚾️🧼

This post may be a day late, but every Sunday after our Saturday games, we go into full deep-cleaning mode with all of our 910-Sports equipment.

The idea is simple: take care of the gear that helps keep our kids safe.

Every helmet, bat, and piece of catcher’s equipment gets thoroughly wiped down with disinfecting wipes. We also use a food-safe sanitizer on the inside padding of our helmets to make sure we are doing everything we can to eliminate germs and keep our equipment clean and ready for the next week.

After everything is cleaned and sanitized, we let the equipment air dry for several days before packing it back up for practices and games. This gives everything plenty of time to dry completely before it is used again.

With so many kids sharing equipment throughout the season, this is something we take very seriously. The last thing we want is for germs to spread through our league and kids to end up sick.

It may not be the most exciting part of running a baseball league, and it’s definitely something most people never see, but it matters to us. Our players deserve equipment that is clean, cared for, and ready to go every time they step onto the field.

Saturday is game day. Sunday is cleaning day. Then we get everything ready to do it all over again! ⚾️💪

P.S. Here is an example of a dirty shin guard versus a clean one after it has been thoroughly cleaned.

🏆⚾ 910-SPORTS MONEY BALL HISTORY WAS MADE TODAY! ⚾🏆

Today in our T-Ball division, we had something happen for the first time in the history of 910-Sports Baseball!

Our Money Ball competition ended with a THREE-WAY TIE for first place between Kaya, Carmine, and Beckham! With the championship on the line, we went to our three-pitch “Sudden Victory” round to determine a winner...

And somehow, ALL THREE OF THEM TIED AGAIN! 😂🔥

At that point, there was only one thing left to do, crown THREE Money Ball Champions!

Kaya, Carmine, and Beckham officially etched their names into the 910-Sports record books as the first three-way Money Ball Champions in league history. Each player walked away with the legendary grand prize of $1, and all three earned the right to claim the most prestigious title in all of little league baseball, the MONEY BALL CHAMPION! 🏆💵

But today’s prize got even better!

Each of our champions also walked away with a $20 gift certificate to Abruzzo’s Pizza here in Jacksonville! 🍕🎉

We want to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to Abruzzo’s Pizza for their generous donation and for helping us make this moment even more special for these young players. Supporting local kids and giving them memories like this is exactly what youth sports should be about.

Congratulations to Kaya, Carmine, and Beckham on making 910-Sports history! Three champions, three dollars, three pizza gift certificates, and one unforgettable Money Ball competition! 😂🏆⚾🍕

Where effort is celebrated. 💙⚾

🏆💰 MONEY BALL CHAMPION KADE! 💰🏆

We officially have a new Money Ball Champion!

Kade came ready to compete in yesterday’s Money Ball game and put together an awesome performance, finishing with 9 total points to earn the top spot and claim the championship!

With the win, Kade walked away with the ultimate grand prize of $1 and, even more importantly, earned the right to wear the most prestigious title in all of little league the Money Ball World Championship Belt! 😂🏆

Money Ball continues to be one of our favorite parts of practice because it gives the kids a fun way to compete, challenge themselves, and celebrate their effort. Every player gets a chance to step up, take their best shot, and see if they have what it takes to become the next champion.

Kade absolutely earned it this week. Scoring 9 points is no easy task, and he stayed focused and made the most of his opportunity when it was his turn.

Congratulations, Kade! Enjoy that hard-earned dollar, enjoy the bragging rights, and most importantly, enjoy your reign as the 910-Sports Money Ball World Champion! 💵⚾🏆

🏆⚾ MONEY BALL CHAMPION BECKHAM! ⚾🏆

We have another T-Ball Money Ball Champion to celebrate!

Last week, Beckham stepped up during our Money Ball competition and battled his way to the top spot. After all the throws were made and the points were counted, Beckham came away as the champion and earned the ultimate grand prize of $1! 💵

Of course, the dollar is pretty exciting… but the real prize is earning what may be the most prestigious title in all of little league: the 910-Sports Money Ball Championship Belt! 🏆😂

Money Ball has become one of our favorite traditions because it gives the kids a fun way to compete, challenge themselves, and work on their throwing accuracy. Every player gets their chance to step up, take aim, make their throws, and see if they can put enough points on the board to claim the championship.

Beckham did exactly that last week and earned himself some serious bragging rights!

Congratulations, Beckham, on taking home the Money Ball Championship! Enjoy that hard-earned dollar, wear that championship belt proudly, and enjoy being the champ until the next group of challengers gets their shot! 💪⚾🏆

At 910-Sports, moments like these are what it is all about. Having fun, building confidence, celebrating effort, and giving every kid something to be proud of.

Where effort is celebrated. ❤️⚾

🏆💰 MONEY BALL CHAMPION: CAMERON! 💰🏆

We officially crowned today’s undisputed Money Ball Champion, and Cameron absolutely earned it!

Cameron stepped up to the challenge and put together a great round, finishing with 8 points to take home 1st place and claim the title of Money Ball Champion! With the win, he earned the right to wear the Money Ball Championship Belt and, of course, took home the ultimate grand prize...

💵 ONE WHOLE DOLLAR! 💵

Cameron had a huge smile on his face as he celebrated his win, and that is exactly what Money Ball is all about. It gives our players a chance to compete, have some fun, challenge themselves, and celebrate their effort at the end of practice.

One of our favorite parts about this drill is that every player gets the opportunity to step up and see what they can do. Some weeks the scores are close, some weeks we have sudden-victory tie breakers, and other weeks someone comes out and takes control. Today, that player was Cameron!

He finished the day with 8 points, the championship belt around his waist, his $1 prize in hand, and plenty of bragging rights until our next Money Ball competition.

Congratulations, Cameron! You earned it today! Keep working hard, keep having fun, and enjoy being our latest Money Ball Champion! 🏆⚾💰

At 910-Sports, winning is always fun, but what matters most is giving our kids opportunities to compete, grow, build confidence, and be proud of the effort they put in.

Where effort is celebrated.
