Praying for the members of Boston FD and family of this firefighter!

Firefighter Robert T. Kilduff Jr., 53 - Rescue 2
Boston Fire Department. Boston, MA
Firefighter Kilduff was killed while battling a three-alarm fire in Dorchester at a home on Treadway Road. Firefighters responded to a call reporting a fire around 8 p.m. and encountered heavy flames on all three floors extending into the attic. During efforts to extinguish the fire, Firefighter Kilduff fell from a third floor rear porch and sustained critical injuries. Despite the best efforts of firefighters, EMS personnel, and crews on scene, he succumbed to his injuries. Firefighter Kilduff, a 24-year veteran of the department, and U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He was also a third generation firefighter, his grandfather Vincent Kilduff died in a LODD in 1947 and his father died from occupational cancer in 2008.

Congratulations to Jessie James on her firefighter pinning! Jessie came to us as a Civilian Paramedic (Non-Fire). A couple of years later Jessie went to the fire academy, strove for excellence and succeeded! Congrats to our union sister on becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic!!!!
