Achievement can make self-reliance look like obedience. Moving forward does not always mean moving under God’s direction. READ MORE:

Surrender is central to the life of a believer. We are called to yield to His authority. This means bringing our desires, ambitions, plans, decisions, and pursuits under His government, recognizing that our lives are not ours to direct independently of Him. Yet there is a subtle contradiction in the...

Culture gives us a picture of what it means to be successful, but that picture must be examined through the truth of God's Word. Otherwise, we risk building lives that look successful by human standards while neglecting the purposes for which God has entrusted us with our abilities, resources, and opportunities.

The goal is not simply to become successful in the eyes of the world, but to remain faithful to the purposes of God.
Colossians 3:23–24

Acknowledging God in our decisions is not the same as surrendering our decisions to Him. We can thank Him for our abilities, recognise His provision, quote His promises, and remain convinced that we are entitled to determine our own path.

The Word of God is not clay for self to mould around its desires. It is the authority under which our desires, ambitions, and plans must be examined and brought into alignment.

You do not have to destroy every good thing God has allowed you to develop. Bring your strength, experience, ambition and gifts back under His authority.

What is surrendered to God can still become useful in His hands.
Psalm 51:10

Not every good work is a reflection of Kingdom alignment. You can give and still seek recognition. You can lead and still crave importance. You can serve others while quietly building your own name.

The question is not only what you are doing, but who receives the glory and who governs the work.

Kingdom service is not about using good works to elevate the self. It is about surrendering the assignment to the King, submitting to His government, and directing the glory back to Him.

Matthew 20:26

Self-reliance quietly changes stewardship into ownership. We begin saying, “My life, my vision, my success, my future.”

Kingdom thinking says, “What has the King entrusted to me, and what does He want me to do with it?”

After a remarkable journey of formation through nine foundational units, we now arrive at the final foundation in the Embassy Foundations pathway, where we confront a critical question: Why are Kingdom citizens still here on earth?

If salvation were only about getting us to Heaven, why did Jesus leave His disciples on earth with an assignment?

Foundation 110, The Ambassador’s Assignment: Why Are Kingdom Citizens Still Here?, brings the Embassy Foundations pathway to its conclusion by moving the citizen from formation to mission. The previous foundations have established who we are, what we believe, how we are governed, and what it means to live as citizens of the Kingdom. Now, we turn our attention to the purpose of our presence on earth and the assignment entrusted to us by the King.

Foundation 110 may bring the Foundations pathway to an end, but it does not bring the journey to an end. It marks the beginning of the mission.

Resilience can help you survive difficult seasons, but it can also teach you a dangerous lesson: “I can handle everything myself.” Eventually, surviving becomes an identity. You stop receiving because you have learned to pride yourself on carrying everything.

Paul discovered that God's strength was revealed through dependence, not through pretending he had no weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Being capable is not the problem. Depending on your capability instead of God’s direction is.

Don’t let what you can do become a substitute for asking where God is leading you.

Discipline, ambition and strength are not inherently the problem. The danger begins when the very qualities that make us capable also make us increasingly independent of God.

You can become so disciplined that you trust your discipline more than God's direction. Kingdom strength is not the absence of dependence; it is strength that remains under the authority of God. Proverbs 3:5–6
