In 2020 nineteen families in Georgia came together to buy nearly 97 acres of land and create the Freedom Georgia community. Led by real estate agent Ashley Scott and entrepreneur Renee Walters they aimed to build a safe space based on dignity and self-determination.

The goal was to create not just a place to belong but a thriving city that would be a model for autonomy prosperity and innovation. Today the project has grown and now includes up to seventy families who have bought up to 5000 acres of land. They are working together to build infrastructure create community gardens and prepare the land for long-term living and cultural growth.

Their vision goes beyond just owning land - they want to create a community based on cooperative economics food sovereignty and environmental stewardship. The land is being developed as a model for healing and empowerment and a blueprint for how communities can reclaim space build wealth and inspire change.
