Making summer plans? JaxParks Summer Camp Program offers a financial voucher for qualifying families. Mark your calendar to submit your lottery application starting Monday, March 30th. Apply at jaxparks.coj.net. The voucher is for Duval County residents only.

We had an amazing event on yesterday, educational, fun and peaceful. All to wake up and see there was a shooting on yesterday in a completely different side of town involving our teens. This is troubling for our city and it is my mission to find a way to become part of the solution. Molding Minds Inc. is currently working on something to address the maddness in our city that has been carrying on since last summer.

Despite having to change the location at the last minute, we remained positive, found another location and we had a blast!
The course of actions that took place up until yesterday's event were eye opening.

♡ We received a lot of support from strangers.

♡ When you are doing God's work, resources and the right people will find you.

♡ Despite the hiccups, stay the course and all the hard work will pay off.

All of that to say, yesterday's event was suppose to be a segue to announce our mentorship program. Although things didn't go they way intended, things are still in the works. We're just going back to the drawing board to find the solution on how we can engage more youth and help change the trajectory of their lives with the help of our community.
