Hands-Only CPR can 2x or 3x a person’s chance of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest. But women get bystander CPR less often than men. Let’s change that. As a part of the Go Red for Women Woman of Impact campaign, I want you to take 60 seconds to learn CPR.

Join a Nation of Lifesavers. You could be the difference between life and death for someone experiencing a cardiac event. Be ready to act by learning CPR.

Women are less likely to receive bystander CPR than men. Let that sink in. But there is good news - we can change this. As a nominee, I learned Hands-Only CPR so that I can make my home and my community a safer place and be prepared to help if someone needs it. The person I’m most likely to save? Someone I already know and love.

❤️ Take *90 seconds* to learn CPR today, then share the link with your loved ones: https://cpr.heart.org/en/cpr-courses-and-kits/hands-only-cpr ❤️

I’m excited to be nominated for the American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement's Woman of Impact campaign. As part of this year’s nationwide class of changemakers, I’ve brought together a team that’s working to make the greatest impact possible on women’s health.

This 9-week competition begins at 9 A.M. on this coming Friday, February 7th and ends at 9 P.M. on Thursday, April 10th. During this time, we will be hosting some amazing events to help increase awareness of cardiovascular disease (the #1 leading cause of death in women!), to inspire women to take charge of their health, and to raise much-needed funds for Go Red for Women as we work to improve the health of our communities. There are so many simple (and fun!) ways you can get involved and make a difference—I hope we can count on your support! ❤️
