UPDATE X2: GENDER REVEAL!!
So someone fooled us all!! We’re a girl!!!

🐾 Meet This Sweet Tabby Kitten!

12 Weeks Old • Tabby • Male • Affectionate • Playful

This little tabby has already been through more than any kitten should. He was found on Interstate 95, in heartbreaking condition and infested with maggots. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now safe and receiving the care he needs.

He has been dewormed and is continuing to recover. Because he was too sick due to the infestation, he was deemed not well enough to receive his vaccinations yet. The foster does plan on starting vaccines as soon as he is healthy enough to. Due to her getting him fully vaccinated, there will be a $125 adoption fee which includes vaccines, food & shelter that she has provided up until adoption.

Despite his rough start, this sweet kitten is incredibly affectionate and loving. He enjoys being around people, playing with toys, and—of course—he absolutely loves his food! ❤️

🐱 His Personality

* 💕 Very affectionate
* 🧸 Loves toys and playtime
* 🍽️ Loves food
* 🏡 Ready to find a safe, loving home
* 🌟 A resilient little survivor with so much love to give

He deserves a home where he can forget his difficult beginning and grow into the happy, healthy cat he was meant to be.

Could you be his forever family? ❤️

Just reiterating for the new year my doors are still currently closed for intakes. My living situation is changing so i’m hoping to be open again for intakes in the second half of the year but that is still to be determined. I will be working on getting my papers during this “down time.”
Taking this much needed time off to recover both financially and emotionally. It takes A LOT. A lot of love, a lot of care, a lot of vet visits, a lot of money, a lot of emotion- a lot of FOOD.
These babies get treated like my very own- maybe to a fault. Maybe i set myself up to feel this way because i become so invested through my care and attentiveness. I wouldn’t change that though. These babies know warmth, they know care, and they know LOVE. Truly, in this last case, i think that’s last one is what got them to survive- not jus from me, from their amazing aunties at Sandy Paws Animal Hospital gave ALL of those things as well.
Anyways, if you’ve set up for a Non-profit, please message me because i’ve done so much research but don’t know where point a is to start. Open to all the help and advice during this process🩷

Well yall, stripes and solids went to their furever home tonight!! My heart is so filled knowing they will bring their new mom the same joy and affection they brought me😻….On the other hand my mama cat heart is struggling so much on night one away from them💔… I’ve had these guys since they were 7 days old.
Thank you to my great friend Ashley who took care of these guys their first 48 hours in “my” care- she truly is an angel because these guys were considered critical for a while due to horrible URIs. Fast forward, and they are thriving. Stripes has parrot mouth (huge overbite, but that NEVER stopped him from going ferral for food) and a little stumped on growth-weighing in at a solid 3 pounds but solids is a chunky 5 pounds of love and curiosity.
My heart aches without them but this is what i’m supposed to do. I a m their temporary until they get the privilege to find their furever.
Stripes, never stop your nose kisses & Solids, never stop your headbutts. I love you forever my two stinky little boys🩷🐾🐈‍⬛

The boys are going into surgery now for their neuters!! Please send all the good vibes my way because this mama cat is so nervous😖! So grateful for the team at Sandy Paws Animal Hospital taking excellent care of my boys🩺! They have also watched these boys grow up from just 7 days old- so many amazing aunties🩷! Will keep yall posted, so be on the look out for post-neuter pics!!

An unfortunate reminder that my doors are still currently closed for intakes💔…It breaks my heart having to turn away babies, but- full transparency, i am up to my neck in medical bills for all the babies i’ve taken in this year. This year, I definitely learned about limits but I surpassed them before I realized they were there. My hope and current plan is to be back open come end of April🗓️.
In the meantime, I do have this bonded pair of medium haired two-toned kittens available for adoption🐾!!! $50 discount on adoption fee since they are bonded and MUST go together.🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Help Us Save Local Cats in Need ❤️

Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,

We are facing an urgent challenge, and we’re reaching out for your support. Over the past few months, we’ve taken in several cats who are in critical need of medical care — including emergency treatments, vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, and ongoing medications.

These vet bills add up quickly, and as a volunteer-run rescue, we rely entirely on community donations to continue saving lives. Every dollar truly makes a difference. Whether you can give $5, $25, or more, your generosity helps provide the medical care these cats desperately need and deserve.

If you’re able to help, please consider making a donation today.

Thank you for supporting our mission and helping our rescue cats get the second chance they deserve. We couldn’t do this without kindhearted people like you.

With gratitude,
