Today was a powerful day honoring the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the 39th Annual MLK Breakfast.

Each year is a reminder and a call to action—to show up, serve our people, and keep building stronger communities.

Standing alongside our board members and fellow laborers in the work, we were encouraged by Mayor Donna Deegan words to “dare to lead together”—a charge we don’t take lightly and continue to strive toward.

We were also inspired by Rodney Hurst Sr. as he shared the legacy of OutEast legend Bob Hayes, reminding us that greatness often rises from overlooked places.

A day rooted in reflection, purpose, and collective movement.
