The North Florida Folk Network (NFFN) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting and the preservation of the past, present, and future of folk music and related forms of artistic expression through education, presentation, and participation. Our Goals and
Objectives
• We Identify, cultivate, preserve, nurture, encourage, and promote traditional and contemporary Folk and acoustic music, and support Folk music in North Florida on all levels in multiple venues;
• Educate the public in Folk tradition by increasing awareness and appreciation for Folk Music through Network sanctioned educational efforts;
• Publicize, encourage, sponsor, and produce concerts, jams and open mics, including support and promotion of other non-profits;
• Provide a public forum for exchange of current Folk news and events for members;
• Encourage the development of local folk talent and to showcase local, state and national performers.
• Promote and encourage songwriters, and their arts and skills.
• Provide a network of association for area Folk music lovers.
