Kinder Souls United Community Aid Center is based in Jacksonville NC. 172 Thomas Humphrey Road. We are a private owned Non-Profit Organization that was created to help our local community unite together to help our veterans, seniors and low income families in their time of need.
I have worked with the people of Jacksonville NC for over 20 years in a multitude of ways in getting to know and help the great people of our community. In my years of working with the public and private sector I have noticed that there are many people in our neighborhoods that have fallen on hard times, most of my fundraising has been to help these people in need in any way possible.
We have a great group of volunteers that can assist in helping our neighbors in times of need. This includes check in’s for elderly neighbors, help after a storm or natural disaster, beautifying the neighborhood, planting gardens and education on farming, homesteading, trade classes, food pantry, small community thrift store, organic farm stand, kids and adult cooking classes, small home repair, barter & trade, odd jobs and much more! All these services will be offered to the community free of charge or small minimal charge in some services.
Our first project is Brian’s Dream the Comrade Connection. This project will be to benefit our Veterans in need. We are not a medical team or a mental health service. We are volunteers that will help our veterans with anything they may need to prosper. This includes help at home, cooking services, errands, help with chores, pet care, hospital visits, wellness checks, book reading, visits to people in senior care & vet hospital, or even just a visit for coffee and a conversation. These services are to help our veterans with the small things that can bring them happiness and peace of mind knowing they have people who care and want to help. These services are offered to our Veterans free of charge and implemented by our great volunteers.
All money raised through our fundraising goes directly into our programs and back out to the local community. Now more than ever we need to come together as a community and help each other prosper. Thank you, and I hope you will be a part of this great journey.
