A cookie can help make a dream come true 🍪💫

This year, participating Chick-fil-A® restaurants across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia came together for Cookies for Dreamers, a week-long fundraiser supporting Dreams Come True!

Thanks to the community’s support, more than $3,750 was raised to help make dreams come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions across the First Coast ✨

Since Cookies for Dreamers began in 2018, this annual fundraiser has raised more than $48,000 for Dreams Come True, helping fund 10 special dream trips for local Dreamers.

Zoee had been dreaming of a tropical getaway for many years while undergoing treatment for leukemia. After multiple hospital stays, including one that lasted more than 100 days, we were honored to watch Zoee regain her strength.

Through physical therapy and hard work, she regained the strength to be able to horseback ride, explore the islands and fulfill her dream of swimming with pigs. Zoee might even grow up to be a Cruise Director after this epic dream! 🐷🌴🚢

For Zoee and her family, this cruise was more than a vacation—it was a celebration of life, hope, and just how far she has come. As her family shared, “Watching her laugh, explore, swim with dolphins, feed pigs on the beach, dance at the glow party, and simply enjoy being a teenager was a gift beyond words.”

Every moment of this dream was a reminder of the strength, courage and resilience Zoee has shown throughout her journey. A special thank you to Golf Fights Cancer for sponsoring her dream and Carnival Cruise Line and Total Travel and Events for their incredible support in planning Zoee's dream! 💙

In just 30 days, our community will come together for the Dreams Come True 5K presented by TOTE and we need you there!

This is our largest fundraising event of the year, helping us raise the funds needed to grant dreams for children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Back-to-school season looks a little brighter when our community comes together. 💙✏️

This year, 106 Dreamers and their siblings, totaling 232 kids, were able to shop for the school supplies they needed to start the new school year ready to learn and grow.

Together, our community donated more than $13,000 worth of school supplies, including approximately 800 backpacks donated by CSI Companies 🎒

A special thank-you to our local National Charity League Jacksonville volunteers and families who helped set up the shop and assisted our dream families with picking up and dropping off their supplies. We’re also grateful to CSI, BNI Northeast Florida chapters, UF Nursing students, The Horizon Board of Dreams Come True Board Members, and the many businesses, families, students and community members who donated their time and resources to make this drive possible.

Because of your generosity, our Dreamers and their siblings are heading back to school with supplies in hand and a community behind them. 💙📚

🏃‍♀️💙 Running for dreams starts with Dreamers like Elsie!

Before she was born, Elsie was diagnosed with a heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia. She had her first open heart surgery when she was only a week old. She has had five heart surgeries and eight heart catheters. Throughout her journey, Elsie has showed remarkable courage every step of the way. This year, she is serving as a Dreams Come True 5K Ambassador and inviting you to join Elsie’s Dream Team!
