A look back at Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

In May, The Partnership for Child Health was honored to attend the Shades of Green Gala hosted by Desiree Corley Jones and the Step-by-Step 4 Help Foundation in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.

At the Partnership for Child Health, we are committed to understanding, supporting, and transforming children's mental health in Jacksonville. We believe that meaningful change happens through a collaborative, evidence-based, and systems-focused approach that addresses the needs of youth and families while strengthening the community around them.

We are grateful to partner with dedicated organizations like Step-by-Step 4 Help, whose work continues to make a positive impact on the lives of children, youth, and families. The Shades of Green Gala was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the importance of mental wellness, honor the work being done throughout our community, and reaffirm our shared commitment to creating brighter, healthier futures for those we serve.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we enjoyed a fun and relaxing activity making body scrubs together. At the Partnership for Child Health, we would like to remind everyone of the importance of self-care and prioritizing mental wellness.

We especially want to encourage those working in the social services field and caring professions to remember to care for yourselves as well. The work you do for others is invaluable, but taking time to rest, recharge, and nurture your own well-being is essential. When we take care of ourselves, we are better able to show up fully and effectively for those we serve.

Thank you for all that you do to support and uplift our community.
