Before fresh food reaches a local family, someone has to plant it, care for it, harvest it, and prepare it for distribution.
Meet Mr. Blue, one of the dedicated gardeners helping Bridge The Gap fight food insecurity. Today, the garden produced fresh eggplant, field peas, and eggs from our chickens.
The original purpose of this garden was simple. Grow healthy, organic food and add it to our food distribution program. These raised beds are devoted to serving people who need access to nutritious food.
Everything grown on this side of the fence goes directly toward helping seniors, families, and neighbors facing food insecurity. Thank you to our gardeners, volunteers, donors, and supporters who help turn seeds into meals and compassion into action.
Support the work by volunteering, donating, or sharing our mission with someone in your community.
