Thankful Thursday!

This week for Thankful Thursday we want to recognize Sue Combs. Sue has served as our Nurse Manager with dedication, compassion, and leadership, and is now beginning her well-deserved retirement.

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating Sue at her retirement party and reflecting on the many lives she has touched throughout her career. We are incredibly grateful for her and the positive impact she has had on our clients and staff.

Thank you, Sue. We wish you the best in this exciting new chapter!

A friendly reminder! 🍼 Baby Bottles are due back this coming Sunday.

Every bottle returned helps support the work of First Coast Women’s Services and provides hope, resources, and care to families facing unplanned pregnancies in our community.

If you still have your bottle at home, make sure to bring it with you this Sunday. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference.

This week we wanted to showcase our clients from our Mandarin Center. There’s nothing more special than seeing our clients return with their sweet babies. We truly cherish these moments and love getting the chance to continue connecting with such wonderful families. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supports and makes the work we do possible.

Aimee came to First Coast Women’s Services for a pregnancy test feeling scared and uncertain. Already a single mother, she wanted to keep her baby but struggled with confidence due to negativity from others. At FCWS, she found the encouragement and support she needed. Volunteer Appreciation Recap! 🎉

This week for Thankful Thursday we are recapping our volunteer appreciation celebrations. It was a great time celebrating together and expressing our gratitude for all our amazing volunteers from each center. We are truly so thankful for all our volunteers and the life-changing work that they do. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who have given their lives for our country. Their sacrifice has secured the freedoms we are able to live out every day.

As we reflect this Memorial Day, we also thank God for His grace and protection, and we are reminded not to take these gifts for granted.

This Thankful Thursday we want to share one of our amazing clients from our Mandarin Center. Wei recently completed our Earn While You Learn program. The EWYL Program helps expectant parents learn about healthy pregnancy and caring for their child. Participants earn points, which can be redeemed for baby items. Mission Monday 💙

This Mission Monday, we’re excited to highlight the great work happening at our Northside center. Recently, we hosted our first Breastfeeding Class at the Northside office and welcomed a wonderful group of engaged clients. We are so thankful for the opportunity to offer this class at the Northside center and look forward to seeing what else is in store.
