The IRS announced that the stimulus checks will be sent in the coming weeks. Most people will not need to take any action to receive their checks, but there are special considerations for certain groups.

Homeless families and individuals throughout the United States are extremely vulnerable to the novel coronavirus due to factors like preexisting health conditions, age, and immunosuppression.

Service providers across the nation are also facing a shortage of resources, like adequate shelter capacity and protective gear for medical personnel.

So, what can you do?

We're working hard to bring an end to veteran homelessness in Jacksonville — but we need your help.

The number of affordable and available units in our community plays heavily into the amount of veterans we are able to house every month. We depend on landlords, small and large, to help us in our efforts to reach functional zero for veteran homelessness in Northeast Florida.

Veteran homelessness is a community issue and it takes a community's response to solve it.
