Some of us learned to experience belonging as something conditional.
Be useful.
Be desirable.
Be agreeable.
Be needed.
Be chosen.
Be easy to love.
And somewhere along the way, being chosen became evidence that we were worthy.
But wholeness changes the question.
Instead of asking, “Will they choose me?”
you begin asking, “Do I choose this?”
Do I choose this relationship?
Do I choose how I feel when I’m here?
Do I choose what this requires of me?
Can I remain myself while loving this person?
That shift changes everything.
Because you can love deeply without abandoning yourself. You can desire connection without making it your identity. You can experience companionship without handing someone else the authority to determine your value.
You already belong.
And when you know that, love becomes something you choose from wholeness, rather than something you have to earn.
