What a blessing to see children, youth, and churches from across the Tallapoosa Baptist Association come together for camp last month! We are so thankful for every moment of worship, growth, and fun at this year's TBA Identity in Christ Summer Camp at Camp Alamisco.

Your TBA WMU team is working hard to be ready for our Meant for the Mission Event on Thursday, August 13th at 5:45 p.m. Please let your congregations know about this event and encourage people to come, women and men. We want pastors to come as well.
From 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., we will be serving light refreshments, and you will have opportunity to view our displays for missions discipleship and interact with the team members. Talk with us and let us give your guidance on resources available and statewide opportunities to involve adults, teens, and children in missions discipleship. We have a small "minty" gift bag for each participant as well as a folder packet of resources available to each household. There will also be a scrolling PowerPoint presentation (slides on the screen) to watch as you wait for the program to begin at 6:30 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m. we will have a time of music, prayer, a few announcements, and a presentation on Compassion Ministries by our guest speaker Kristy Carr from National WMU. She will tell about opportunities for missions involvement offered by National WMU. We also will have some door prizes to give away.
This event was formerly called EQUIP, but we are trying a new thing this year. Adults of all ages are invited.
