Where does Teton County Health Department (TCHD) source its budget? It's more complicated than you might think.

As a Teton County, Wyoming department with a partnership with the Wyoming Department of Health, TCHD receives the majority of its funding through the county budget and state/federal grants. However, these sources do not meet the full demands of our health department and it's Public Health Clinic.

Teton County Foundation for Public Health was formed to more robustly assist with filling these funding gaps, with particular support given to the Sexual and Reproductive Health Program. Changes to federal funding in 2025 has necessitated even great gaps to fill with the support of community members and donors like you!

We want to extend a BIG shout out to one of 's most dedicated and longest standing Family Nurse Practitioner as her family starts their next chapter away from Jackson!

Providing sexual and reproductive health services for the last 11 years, Layne leaves an indelible mark on the Health Department and so many members of our community. Wishing Layne and her family all the best up north where her husband is moving through the ranks of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department.

We at the Teton County Foundation for Public Health are working together with the Health Department to find alternative sources of funding to fill the space left by Layne, and in light of recent changes to the Health Department's longstanding partnership with St. John's Health. It's Old Bill's Season 🎉

We are so grateful for the support we've received in past years, fundraising as the Sexual and Reproductive Health Services at the Teton County Health Department. This year, we've got a new name but the same goal: to support sexual, reproductive, and family planning services that can be accessed by all members of our community.
