Devo has been to Panama City Beach! He made a trip every year with his sister from another mother, Dawn Whitten. Dawn decided to take “Devo” to the beach this year! Thanks for supporting the scholarship fund!

Macie Rowan is an exceptional senior at Peabody High School, recognized for her dedication to academics, athletics, and community service. An accomplished student, Macie maintains a strong 3.86 GPA and is an active member of the Beta Club. Her passion for helping others is beautifully reflected in her involvement with Peabody Pals, an organization where she provides valuable support and peer mentoring to special needs students.

A talented multi-sport athlete, Macie makes a significant impact on both the court and the diamond. She is a standout catcher for the Peabody High School softball team and brings her competitive drive to the volleyball team as well. Her dedication to softball extends year-round as a member of the TN Illusions Davis travel softball team.

In recognition of her outstanding character, work ethic, and well-rounded achievements, Macie is the proud recipient of the Jerry Devo Marsh Memorial Scholarship. This fall, she will continue her academic and athletic journey at Freed-Hardeman University, where she plans to study Education with a specific focus on math and art to inspire the next generation of students.

Laura Kate Prater is a distinguished senior at the University School of Jackson (USJ), recognized equally for her outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and athletic excellence. As exceptionally driven student, Laura Kate boasts a remarkable 4.74 GPA and achieved a 30 on the ACT. Her dedication to scholarship is reflected in her extensive involvement in numerous prestigious academic organizations, including National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Art Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Spanish Club.

On the field, Laura Kate is a powerhouse athlete and a leader from behind the plate, serving as the starting catcher for the USJ softball team. Her talent and commitment to the sport extended year-round as a member of the elite EC Bullets 18U Utz A-Level Showcase Team. Grounded in her faith and community, she is also an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

In recognition of her character, work ethic, and well-rounded accomplishments, Laura Kate is the proud recipient of the Jerry Devo Marsh Memorial Scholarship. This fall, she will take her academic and athletic talents to Delta State University, where she plans to major in Biology on a Pre-Med track with the ultimate career goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.

Eli Smith, a senior at Jackson Christian School, is a standout student-athlete with a remarkable 4.4 GPA. He is the proud recipient of the Jerry Devo Marsh Memorial Scholarship. On the field, Eli is a dedicated catcher for the school’s baseball team and also plays football for JCS. Beyond athletics, he’s an active member of the National Honor Society and participates in Young Life. Eli also enjoys playing church league baseball in his free time. This fall, he will be attending Jackson State Community College to pursue a degree in biomedical science, with aspirations of becoming a physician assistant.

Miller Hornsby is an outstanding senior at South Side High School, recognized for his exceptional leadership, academic dedication, and athletic versatility. An accomplished student, Miller maintains a 3.97 GPA and has been an active member of the BETA Club throughout all four years of his high school career. His natural leadership abilities shine across campus, where he serves as the Student Council President and represents his peers as a Rotary Club representative. He is also a graduate of the Leadership University program and has brought vibrant school spirit to South Side by serving in the Pep Club for all four years of high school.

An all-around athletic, Miller makes a significant impact on both the diamond and the green. He is a standout pitcher for the South Side baseball team and showcases his multi-sport talent as a member of the varsity golf team.

In recognition of his character, work ethic, and well-rounded achievements, Miller is the proud recipient of the Jerry Devo Marsh Memorial Scholarship. This fall, he will continue his academic and baseball journey at Volunteer State Community College, where he plans to study with the ultimate career goal of becoming a physical therapist.
