Join us for YAM Day on the 9th by wearing your YOU ARE MORE gear. Participate in our Chalk the Walk on the 14th to spread positivity at various locations around town.
Then, let's welcome October by celebrating Fall Festival on the 25th!
Every step we take brings us closer to a world where everyone feels heard and valued.

CHALK THE WALK - SEPTEMBER 14th!

As you may have heard, MountainHomeBOLD and YOU ARE MORE have unified efforts to bring even more awareness and connection across our district. Together, we want to continue building a culture that supports mental health and reminds students they are not alone.

One simple but powerful tradition is Chalk the Walk. Students arrive at school to see uplifting and positive messages written in chalk on the sidewalks and entryways. It is an immediate reminder of hope, encouragement, and community as they start their day.

For Su***de Prevention Month, we are planning a district-wide Chalk the Walk on Monday, September 14th. On that morning around 7:15am, YAM and BOLD students from MHHS will divide up and chalk sidewalks at schools across town.

We would love to see administrators, staff, and counselors at each building join in and participate alongside the students. The more voices and hands, the bigger the impact for our kids. Please also wear your YAM gear or colors that support mental health awareness (green, teal, purple, or blue) to help make the morning even more meaningful.
