LeFleur East JXN Our mission is to foster growth, development, and enrichment in the LeFleur East neighborhood.

Goals of LeFleur East:
*Increase quality of life
*Promote healthy neighborhoods

There’s a new sign at Parham Bridges, and we’ll admit we’ve driven past it a few extra times just to admire it.

It’s a small thing. But small things done right tell you a place is cared for.

Step by step, this park is becoming what our neighbors have been dreaming about for years.

Two of our neighbors at The District just turned one.

A year ago, Emerson Provisions and Little Effie opened their doors. Somewhere along the way, they stopped being the new spots and became part of the routine. In a neighborhood, there is no higher compliment.

Yes, stopping by to celebrate counts as civic engagement. Treating yourself while you’re there is also strongly encouraged.

Local businesses are how a place becomes a neighborhood. When we shop here, gather here and send our friends here, we keep LeFleur East growing.

You know what makes a neighborhood feel like home? People who care enough to show up for it.

This year, we’ve seen parks and recreation spaces get new life, new restaurants and businesses open their doors, and neighbors pitch in when they see a chance to help. Each bit of progress has people behind it.

Fall gives us a moment to appreciate how far LeFleur East has come. And with more ideas taking shape for the new year, we’re excited to see what we can do together.

Sometimes it is a fresh coat of paint, a repaired path, a garden where there was not one before. Small things, done with intention, that quietly add up to something lasting.

There is something to be said for a partner who shows up when you need them. When the lights went out at Parham Bridges recently, Entergy Mississippi was on it quickly. That is not a small thing.

Cheers to them for being a steady, reliable partner to this neighborhood year after year.
