Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Our sixth and last senior to celebrate is Anna Box.

Anna has been with Victors for 3 years, starting as a Sophomore. Her professional coach is Agnes Gee.

In the fall, she is headed to Mississippi State University to major in Mechanical Engineering as a member of the Shackouls Honor College. Malachi 4:2 is her current favorite Bible verse.

About her time on the team, Anna says “Victors has been the best part of my week for the past three years. During hard seasons of stress and intense school schedules, tennis has always been a time for me to relax and recharge. The players and coaches are so inclusive and encouraging. They were always ready to listen to me and laugh with me!”

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “Anna is full of joy and excitement. When she’s on the court, she gives 110% and was always willing to keep playing as long as we needed her to. She is very encouraging to everyone. She’s going to do great things!”

Anna encourages “Tennis is not only a physical activity. It’s a community and a social sport that you can play for the rest of your life. You get to spend time outdoors with friends being challenged together and bonding as a group. You won’t regret joining Victos tennis!”

Anna, your ever present smile and intentionality was both contagious and meaningful! You’re always a delight to talk to and watching you improve your game over the years has been a joy to watch. This desire to always get better is most certainly going to be part of your very exciting future that we know will bring great glory to God! CONGRATULATIONS!

Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Today we celebrate Samuel Saenz.

Sam started playing in tennis in 9th grade and joined the team as a Sophomore. He has played in a variety of places on the team, including 2 Doubles. Proverbs 27:17 is his current go-to part of scripture.

After graduation, Sam will be headed to Mississippi College to major in Pre-Law.

Sam says about his time with Victors: “It has meant a lot to me. I’ve made many friends I never would have met otherwise, and it has really helped me grow into a stronger, more godly person.”

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “Sam was always wanting to improve his game. He would always fill me in on his analysis of the match and his personal game. And while I’m going to miss those conversations, I’m excited to see what the future holds for him.”

Sam says “You will always feel welcome because, regardless of how long you’ve been playing or how skilled you are at the sport, there will always be people there encouraging you to keep playing and working hard.”

Sam, it has been so fun to watch you go from never-held-a-racquet to being able to play with some legit competition and do it all with the best sense of humor (that often belied the intensity of your competitiveness!) As the other half of Sam Squared, your contribution to the team was important! There was never any doubt that you loved to play and wanted to play as much as possible. We will miss you but know you are going to do big things! CONGRATULATIONS!

Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Today we celebrate Mylane Newman.

Mylane played with Victors tennis for 2 years - once in 8th grade and then again as a Senior. She loves Romans 8:28 because it reminds her that “Once you have decided to give your life to Jesus, God will work everything you face in life for good even if it’s hard to see in the moment.”

Mylane plans to pursue her call to ministry by beginning work on a nursing degree at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

About Victors, Mylane says “I have been surrounded by kind teammates and coaches who have encouraged me to continue playing tennis. They also taught me to be encouraged in all walks of life, not just tennis. Their encouragement strengthened my endurance to play tennis. Endurance is a key attribute everyone can apply in all areas of life.”

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “Mylane took a couple years off but she came back to us, proving that once a Victor, always a Victor!  She was always sweet and respectful.  Fun loving and encouraging to all her teammates.”

Mylane adds about Victors tennis “You will have some of the best coaches who will have everyone’s best interest in mind. They will reach out to you and encourage you through your tennis journey. You will be surrounded by like-minded teammates who more than likely will be your life-long friends. The Victors Tennis community will deepen your love for tennis even more.”

Mylane, you made such a strong impression on us when you were just a wee thing in 8th grade, so we’re so glad you came back to us for your Senior year. We could always count on you for a smile, an encouraging word, and most especially conduct most becoming of a follower of Jesus. We know you will succeed in all things in life! CONGRATULATIONS!

Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Today we celebrate Samuel Miller.

Sam is a 3 year member of the team. He has played both 2 Doubles and 2 Singles. He loves 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:”

Sam plans to attend Mississippi College and will be pursuing a degree in Business.

About Victors, Sam says that “It has been a place where I can comfortably do something I’m passionate about, but also a place I have made longtime friends.”

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “I watched Sam put in a lot of work over his Victors career.  He worked his way into a starting position through dedication and hard work.  Quick with a laugh but all business on the court.”

Sam assures others that “The team is very welcoming and encouraging and you don’t need to be Nadal to play on the team. Just find what your game is and play it.”

Samuel, we’ve seen you go from a newbie in the sport to part of the starting lineup in a relatively short amount of time. Your persistence and focus that helped you achieve that goal will also serve you very well in the years to come! We pray you will continue to seek God’s will in your life and know that you will be a blessing to others as you have been to our team. CONGRATULATIONS!

Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Today we celebrate Matthew Hatchett.

Matthew is a 2 year member of Victors tennis, having come to us his Junior year of high school. He loves his chosen verse of Ephesians 2:8-9 because “it reminds me that my salvation is only dependent on one thing: God’s grace. It’s a beautiful message that I find both encouraging and reassuring!”

Matthew plans to attend Mississippi State University as a member of the Shackouls Honor College and will be majoring in Accounting with intentions to become a CPA.

About Victors, Matthew says that “Being a part of the Victors tennis team has been a wonderful experience for me. It’s given me the chance to learn, develop, and grow alongside a great team of people who are supportive and fun to be around! On any given day, whether good or bad, I can always count on the Victors tennis team to cheer me on. Being on the team has helped me not only to grow in my personal abilities, but also to display encouragement, kindness, and team spirit to the people around me!”

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “Matthew is as steady as they come. Full of quiet confidence and unflappable nerves. Tennis can be an emotional sport at times, but he brought a calm to the sidelines that the team (and the coaches) drew on. He always works hard and gives his best and that leadership will be missed.”

Thinking of joining Victors tennis? Matthew says “Give it a shot! You may or may not make it to the starting team, but there are so many great experiences you can have by playing Victors tennis. Don’t be afraid to try it out and see if it’s something you like—the players and coaches will always be there to support you!”

Matthew, you’ve been such a steady presence on the team that it feels like you’ve been with us much longer than two years. You are going to be missed, because you always brought your best effort and respect for all. We are so proud of you and know you will do great things! CONGRATULATIONS!

Victors Tennis is proud to spotlight our graduating seniors from this year’s team! Today we celebrate Noah Adcock.

Noah is a 3 year veteran of Victors tennis, having come to us as a Sophomore. He was already a valuable member of the Victors Track team at the time, and he balanced the two sports very well, with the help of his dedicated family. He is also the Lele Rogers Rooks award winner for 2025-2026! This Coaches’ award is given to a graduating senior who is dedicated to self-improvement on and off the tennis court, is a team leader, and is committed to their Christian walk in all areas of life.

Noah plans to attend Mississippi College in the Fall, intending to study Accounting and Finance.

About Victors, Noah says that “it has been a great organization where I have learned to push myself athletically, but to also glorify God while I do so”. To anyone thinking about the tennis team, he says “It would be a great use of your time because you will learn so much that you can take with you even after you leave the team”.

Victors Head coach Jason Kackley says “Noah is the epitome of a Team First player.  Always there to support the team even when he wasn’t scheduled to play and ready to step in if he was needed.  He is kind and respectful to his team, his coaches, and his opponents.  So very proud of this young man and excited to see what the future holds for him!”

Noah, we are so glad you took the chance to come play tennis, joining your brother on the team! It has been a wonderful 3 years with you, and we have no doubt that you will take your dedication and your team-first spirit with you as you head to college. We know you will do great things, both in life and for the Kingdom! CONGRATULATIONS!

Victor’s Baseball season has officially come to a close, and what a blessing it has been. ⚾️

We are so incredibly thankful for every parent, grandparent, sibling, and fan who showed up and supported this team all season long. Your encouragement, cheers, and presence meant more than you know.

A special thank you to our coaches who gave their time so selflessly—pouring into these boys not only the game of baseball, but also lessons about faith, character, and life. The impact you’ve made goes far beyond the field.

We pray everyone has a wonderful, restful summer and we look forward to seeing you all back next season!

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
