Meet Tarah Butler, 2026 Butterfly Ball Promotions Co-Chair.
As a mom, I can’t imagine a child facing life’s hardest moments without someone in their corner. Every child deserves to know they are seen, valued, and loved, and that is why Canopy’s mission resonates so deeply with me.
Canopy Children’s Solutions doesn’t just meet immediate needs; they walk alongside children and families through some of life’s most difficult seasons, providing hope, healing, and the support needed to build a brighter future. They remind children that their circumstances do not define their story and that there is always hope for what comes next.
Serving as Promotions Co-Chair for the Butterfly Ball is a small way of helping more people discover this incredible organization and become part of the life-changing work happening across Mississippi. While the Butterfly Ball is a beautiful evening of celebration, its purpose goes far beyond one night. Every partnership, sponsorship, and contribution helps Canopy continue providing critical services and creating opportunities for children and families to thrive.
To me, a butterfly is a powerful symbol of transformation, and that is exactly what Canopy makes possible. Through compassionate care, counseling, foster care, adoption, and family support, they help children move from uncertainty toward hope and discover the strength to spread their wings.
I believe every child is created with purpose and deserves to experience the love, support, and opportunities that allow them to flourish. When a community comes together, we can help transform lives; one child, one family, and one act of generosity at a time.
