The Jackson-Breathitt County Chamber of Commerce will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 10:00 AM.

We are honored to welcome a Representative from the KY Department of Transportation District 10 Office.

This is an important conversation updating our community on the Highway 15 Widening Project. We encourage all members and community stakeholders to attend.

Jackson Breathitt Chamber of Commerce | Back to School Meeting Recap 🍎📚

The Jackson Breathitt Chamber of Commerce welcomed a great crowd on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, for our Back to School program featuring leaders from both local school districts.

A special thank you to our guest speakers:

* Wayne Sizemore, Superintendent, Jackson City School
* Ruschelle Hamilton, Chairwoman, Breathitt County Board of Education
* Albert Little, Member, Breathitt County Board of Education

Our speakers shared updates on the upcoming 2026–2027 school year, discussing new initiatives, goals, student opportunities, and the importance of strong partnerships between our schools, businesses, and community. Their presentations highlighted the commitment both districts have to providing quality education and preparing students for future success.

The Chamber appreciates everyone who attended and participated in the discussion. Working together, we can continue building a stronger community by supporting our local schools, educators, students, and families.

Thank you to our speakers for taking the time to share their vision for the year ahead, and to everyone who joined us for another informative Chamber meeting.
