The Jackson (TN) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly hosted the 2026 Madison County Mayoral Forum on May 16, 2026, bringing together community members for an afternoon of civic engagement, education, and meaningful dialogue. The forum featured current Mayor A.J. Massey and FrenCherry Miller as the mayoral candidates.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the candidates, community partners, and everyone who attended and participated in this important event held at The Historic First Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. Community partners included the Jackson Madison County Branch of the NAACP, The Jackson Chapter of the National Action Network, the New Jackson Madison County Voters Council, and the Brown’s Creek District Association. We also thank our moderator, Rev. Curtis Morman, Pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, for leading an informative and engaging discussion.
Special thanks are also extended to Dr. William Watson, Pastor of The Historic First Baptist Church, and his staff for their hospitality, support, and assistance in helping make this event a success.
