Special Olympics TN Southwest Region soccer skills day was a blast. Over 50 athletes met at McNairy Central High School to take part in today’s camp. Special thanks to the McNairy Central boys soccer team for partnering with the Jackson Boom to make the day spectacular for our athletes.

Thanks to today’s meal sponsor Hometown pizza in Selmer, TN, All Children Play for providing water, and McNairy Central High School for hosting the event, your hospitality was above and beyond!!!!!

March is here and Special Olympics is teaming up with Jersey Mike’s for a Month of Giving.

Head over to Jersey Mike’s on Vann Dr. and order your favorite sub, once you’re at the register or online you can make a donation or round up your order and these proceeds will go to Special Olympics.

On March 25th is our local Day of Giving and the entire store proceeds for that day will go to Special Olympics.

The funds will be used to send our local state athletes to USA games and also help local areas.

It’s almost that time…less than 14 hours away…a couple late additions to the raffle pile. Aloha Pools has donated an inflatable kayak (valued at 300$). Pepsi donated the crush cake and we’ll have gift cards for restaurants, coffee, and more. If you didn’t make the pledge to plunge, that’s ok….come out tomorrow at 9 am and watch the plunge and buy a raffle ticket.
