After graduation, Brookelin is heading to the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Oneida to become a Medical Assistant.

Her biggest inspiration has been herself, for never giving up and pushing through to graduation. Brookelin’s honest and practical advice to freshmen is heartfelt: “Honestly, don’t try so hard to impress everyone. Freshman year feels huge, but most of it won’t matter later. Just focus on your grades, find a few real friends, and stay out of drama. … High school goes by way quicker than you think, so don’t spend it worrying about what everyone else thinks.”

Congratulations, Brookelin! We’re so proud of your determination and can’t wait to see you succeed as a medical assistant.
