Another in the books! I am so proud of all the girls, it was so hot and so humid and they pushed through and finished strong 🩷🩵💜

Yesterday we had the most incredible visitor come talk to the girls.

Danish is a sophomore at Cornell studying public health, an avid runner, and an ambassador for the organization Free to Run. However she grew up in Afghanistan, where education, exercise, and independence were not allowed for women and young girls.

I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of the girls questions, the outrage they felt for all the girls and women affected by these rules, and the compassion and motivation they expressed in wanting to help make change.

I am so excited for what we have planned for the future of GirlStrong, and to see what future these amazing girls create for themselves 💜🩵🩷
