The Cornell United Way campaign launched on September 25 and is off to a strong start, with $115,300 raised as of October 1. We're so excited about this campaign year! We hope you will join us at some of our upcoming events to benefit the United Way of Tompkins County and consider a gift today!

Your tax-deductible gift directly supports Tompkins County organizations, such as the Women’s Opportunity Center and the United Way/211 ALICE (Asset-Limited Income-Constrained and Employed) Program.

Cornellians can make a significant difference in the lives of people in the community by making a donation to the Cornell United Way, now in its 104th year.

The United Way of Tompkins County (UWTC) will host the Stephen E. Garner Food and Personal Care Drive, Co****le for a Cause, and a community carnival for the annual Day of Caring at the YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County.

Events: The Community Carnival will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Enjoy food trucks, a food drive, and the UWTC campaign kickoff! The Co****le for a Cause tournament kicks off at 9:00 a.m. Registration is required to participate in the tournament.

The Cornell United Way campaign, which supports the United Way of Tompkins County (UWTC), jumpstarted its fundraising efforts with a focused pacesetter campaign earlier in September. That resulted in gifts to date already surpassing $75,000.

“That is solid progress toward our $575,000 goal,” said campaign co-chair Brandon Fortenberry, senior manager of dining training and development for Student and Campus Life.

The yearly campuswide fundraising campaign, which supports local nonprofits and those in need, launched Sept. 25.

Our campaign co-chair Brandon Fortenberry is hard at work making chili for The Downtown Chili Cook-Off! Get your tickets now and join Cornell Catering and the Cornell United Way team downtown on March 2. Cornell Dining/Catering will donate all revenue from their ticket sales to benefit the United Way of Tompkins County.

Come have some chili, vote for us, or buy some United Way merch and help us support the United Way!

Share the love on Valentine's Day! On Wednesday, February 14, when you buy drip coffee at any *Cornell Dining* location on the Ithaca campus, 5% of all sales that day will go directly to support local food security programs through the United Way of Tompkins County!
