Please join us, LVMA, as well as AABP and AASRP at our Spanish Workshop this evening in Classroom 6 at 6 pm! This is open to Spanish speakers of all levels! Participants will receive access to a vocabulary list of bovine and small ruminant terms!

Welcome back from Spring break 🌸🪻🌼

On Tuesday 4/9, join us from 12-1pm in Classroom 6 (LH6) for our Spanish Conversation Hour! This is a really laid-back way to practice your Spanish speaking skills, open to all levels. We hope to have fun, encouraging beginners to learn new vocabulary and grammar while pairing up with more experienced speakers. 👥

Later on, from 5-7pm in Classroom 6 (LH6) we will be having Loteria (Bingo) Night - Animal Edition! 🐓🐑🐖 This will be a very fun and interactive way to practice your animals in Spanish and if you win, you may even get a prize. 👀✨

Finally come join us on Friday, 4/12 from 4-6pm with the affinity group POTLUCK 🥘🫔🍜 Reminder, with each club event you attend, you will get $1 off your entrance fee! Please refer to Cornell SAVMA's email on diversity week for more info.

Bienvenidos al Spring semester! 🌱 We are excited to announce a new series of events called Spanish Conversation Hours! We will be meeting from 12-1pm this Thursday in tutor room S2-106 to learn and practice speaking conversational Spanish! 👥

All levels are welcome since this is a low-stakes, learning environment. 🤗 Chips and dip will be provided but feel free to enjoy your own lunch with us. 🍽️

Join us this Thursday, November 9th at 4pm in LH3 where Dr. Julio López, DVM, DACVIM, will present Be The Source - Representing Veterinary Medicine.

The attendees will learn why it's important for veterinarians to be represented in media 📸 how to get started 🤳🏼 how to make contacts and connections 🤝🏼 what to expect during an interview as well as some do's and don'ts to refer to when you have your first interview! 👥

Before ends, we want to highlight some of our third-year students, part of the class of 2025! They are currently in the process of completing their third Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) by performing their first SPAY SURGERY!! 🤩🤩🎉

We are so proud and happy for them because this is a huge✨ milestone in their veterinary career! Soon, they will join the 0.5% of Latinx/Hispanic veterinarians in the U.S.⚕️

Join us this week for our first Spanish workshop of the year! 🤩 This workshop will be focused on small animals including basic anatomy 🦴 and medical vocabulary. 🩺

Whether you are learning pronunciation for the first time or want to practice your Spanish conversational skills-- all levels are welcome! 🤝🏼 It will take place this Thursday October 12th from 6:30 - 7:30pm in LH6!
