I started making KITS official in October 2024, but we became official with the state today - December 5th. I can’t believe it’s been a year and we’re only JUST getting started on spreading kindness to those in need 🥹 Thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with me. Have some cake tonight to celebrate 🥰🎂🥳

Let’s give a huge welcome to Daquawya and Nicole! They are two of the strongest, smartest, and (most importantly) KINDEST women I know. I’m lucky to have these two in my life as coworkers, friends, and NOW advisors for KITS by Stacie!!! Daquawya has a wealth of knowledge that started while working at Treehouse (foster care nonprofit serving King County) while Nicole is a comms expert from Microsoft. Our trifecta came together at the Gates Foundation where we saw all our strengths, motivated one another constantly, and led us to where we are today. With KITS growth, I knew I needed these two by my side so we can make magic happen 🥰

Friday was an exciting day for KITS as we lead our first employee volunteer event! We had an hour and a goal of 50 lunches, as it was their first time doing something like this as well. Safe to say we will be back with a way higher goal because this group reached the initial goal in record time.

Thank you so much to this group volunteering their time. These lunches then went straight to for their Search and Rescue work!

This is a perfect vision of why KITS was made. Making items that people need most and utilizing other partners who can distribute them to those in need. We can do so much individually, but even more is possible when working together ♥️

As summer comes to an end and fall starts creeping in, I thought we could have some fun 🥳 While organizing some of our standard supplies I had an idea to make a game out of it 👾

Each Saturday morning (Seattle time) I will post a photo to our story. This photo will be of an item we include in one of kits… but REALLY zoomed in 🔬Your task? Guess what it is first 😎

Seems easy enough, right? Let’s see!

Depending on the involvement and number of guesses each week, we may have some giveaways to our weekly winner 😉
