We had a great time visiting the students at Isle Public Schools to talk about fire safety! 🧑‍🚒🚒

Teaching children about fire safety is an important way to help keep our community safe. From learning what to do in an emergency to understanding the importance of smoke alarms and having a family escape plan, these lessons can make a big difference!

A big THANK YOU to Nyquist Elementary for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share these important safety tips with your students! ❤️

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary bravery. We remember the families who lost loved ones and the many lives forever changed that day.

As a fire department, we especially honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Never forget their courage. Never forget their sacrifice. Never forget.
