In honor of National Secondhand Wardrobe Day, we're proud to launch Ben Levi Co.'s clothing donation initiative.

The clothing you no longer wear could provide comfort, confidence, and dignity to someone in our community.

If you've been thinking about cleaning out your closet, we'd love to help those items find a new purpose. Send us a message to coordinate your donation.

Today is National Be an Angel Day. 🤍

Kindness doesn't have to be extravagant to make a difference. Sometimes the smallest gestures: a conversation, a helping hand, a meal, or a few moments of your time can have a lasting impact on someone else's life.

Today's challenge is simple: choose one act of kindness from this list, or create one of your own.

Whether you donate food, check on a neighbor, volunteer, or encourage someone who's having a difficult day, every act of compassion helps strengthen our communities.

At Ben Levi Co., we believe meaningful change often begins with ordinary people choosing to care.

Help us fill local pantry shelves. 🤎

We're excited to launch Ben Levi Co.'s Fill the Pantry, a community food drive benefiting Irving Cares .

From August 23 through September 2, we'll be collecting nonperishable food donations to help support local families experiencing food insecurity.

To make donating as convenient as possible, we're offering porch pick-up throughout the DFW area, as well as a drop-off location in Irving.

Irving Cares has shared that their greatest current needs include:

🥫 Soup

🧀 Mac & Cheese

🥩 Canned meat (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.)

🥣 Boxed breakfast cereal

🥕 Canned vegetables (especially needed at this time)

Whether it's one can or a full grocery bag, every donation helps stock pantry shelves for families in our community.

If you'd like to participate, send us a message and we'll coordinate a porch pick-up or provide our Irving drop-off location.

Together, let's fill local pantry shelves and support our neighbors, one donation at a time.

Kindness is always worth sharing.

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we're taking a moment to reflect on why Ben Levi Co. exists. 🤎

Our purpose has always been simple: when we're in a position to help, we should. Sometimes that means meeting an immediate need. Sometimes it's bringing people together for a community drive, supporting another local organization, or connecting someone with a resource that can help.

There isn't one specific need we exist to meet. We want to be an organization that pays attention to our community, sees where help is needed, and asks, “What can we do?” We're grateful for every person who has donated, volunteered, participated, shared our work, connected us with others, or simply encouraged us along the way.

We're still at the beginning and we're excited for everything ahead!

This month, we're spotlighting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America , an organization dedicated to creating life-changing mentoring relationships for young people throughout Dallas and Tarrant Counties.

Whether you meet with a child in your community, volunteer through a school-based program, or participate in virtual mentoring, simply showing up consistently can make a lasting impact. Volunteers receive training, support, and are thoughtfully matched with a young person based on personalities and interests.

If mentoring has ever been on your heart, this could be the perfect opportunity to get involved.

Preparedness isn't just about emergency kits and weather plans. Sometimes it's something as simple as wearing a medical ID.

This month, we're recognizing Medicalert Awareness Month by raising awareness about a resource that can help protect individuals during an emergency.

At Ben Levi Co., we believe caring for our community means helping meet practical needs (big and small).

If obtaining a medical ID has been out of reach because of cost, we'd love to hear from you. While we can't guarantee assistance for every request, we'll do our best to help or connect you with resources.
