Will our future men and women marry AI? This is the title of an article by Rafael Perez. It is also the subject of a play, entitled BETA FOR YOU

This short play was performed at Irvine Theater Company's 'Brain-based Short Play Festival. Directed by Annie Young and performed by Vinita Singla, Jonathon Hoch, and Kelly Bohart, this piece explored one man's choice to find connection with artificial intelligence. Thanks to the powerful performances, audiences were surprised to learn that this piece was actually written by Artifical Intelligence.

Just wow! Irvine Theater's own. She was asked to write a few plays, direct 2 or 3 three of them a week, learn a new way of working with actors, design two sets and create her own digital scenography, then she was told she had less than a week to reconfigure everything she did when we had to unexpectedly switch venues, and all that time, I had no idea that this important team member was using the artistic process to nurture her own health and well-being.
