Dedicated to empowering children through education in Canada & Ghana — providing scholarships, financial support, and school supplies so every child has the chance to learn, grow, and achieve their dreams To advance education by providing publicly available scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to students attending college and for post-secondary education. To relieve po

As part of Operation Backpack 2025, The Shidaa Foundation donated backpacks filled with essential school supplies to support students and help bridge educational inequalities.

These are more than just supplies they represent hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for every child.

Despite challenges along the journey, we remained committed because every student deserves the tools they need to learn and succeed.

Today was a truly meaningful day for The Shidaa Foundation as we officially received 6 pallets of assorted Hilroy notebooks — approximately 9,000 units — generously donated by ACCO Brands to support students and families through our upcoming initiatives.

This milestone would not have been possible without the incredible support of 𝗞𝗼𝗳𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗲 and the amazing team at Kwiksave Logistics Inc., who stepped forward with generosity and purpose to handle the pickup and delivery seamlessly.

Because of their support, these notebooks safely arrived at The Shidaa Foundation office, bringing us one step closer to our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 through .

We are proud to share a meaningful milestone for The Shidaa Foundation through our growing partnership with ACCO Brands, manufacturer of the trusted Hilroy line of notebook products.

We are grateful to announce that we have 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝟲 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 of assorted notebooks — approximately 9,000 units — generously donated by ACCO Brands to support students and families through our upcoming initiatives.

Since launching in 2020, Hilroy notebooks have consistently been part of the backpacks distributed to students and families across underserved communities. Today, that relationship has grown into impact at scale.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱.

From early mornings watching farmers prepare for cocoa farms, to children trekking long distances through bushes just to reach school, this experience has been eye-opening.

Despite no electricity and extreme conditions, these children remain committed to learning.

As we move to the second school in Akum to continue distributing backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
