We will also try to keep you informed on days we are at places and events happening. The closet came to be out of a perfect storm of emotions
and ideas going on in my head. I was thinking about how
wrapped up I get in social issues and sometimes forget about
the problems going on right around me. Also, just me coming
to grips with where I fit in to helping fulfill the Great Commission
and wha
t I am doing to show the love of Christ to the people
around me. Those all finally collided one day at work in a matter of minutes
into the Ipswich community closet. I really felt like it was God,
through the Holy Spirit that did that. So I went for it. Jesus throughout his ministry met and talked with anyone and
loved everyone. No questions asked. And that is why the closet
is and will stay that same way. Sharing Christ’s love to anyone
and everyone, no questions asked. We have started by just
simply taking clothes donations to help those in Ipswich and
the surrounding communities in their times of need but we
hope in the future to do even more than that, like community
projects and other things like that. Feel free to shoot ideas our way on what you think would be
beneficial for us to try.
