Wow!!! It has been a fun and busy start to the summer with some amazing volunteer groups joining us on our various build sites! 🌟

A couple of weeks ago, Kirkwood Community College Interior Design + Interior Architecture Program joined us for a couple of volunteer shifts at our different build sites! They traveled down to Washington and helped our construction crew install door handles and work on the backyard deck, among many other projects at our Home Remodel! They also joined us at our Hodge and Habitat construction site in Iowa City and helped set windows and so much more! We cannot thank them enough! 💙🏠

In partnership with the Washington Economic Development Group, this home was relocated from Wellman to Washington. Prior to moving the home to Washington, the WEDG laid a new concrete foundation with a basement and completed the exterior work, which included new siding, gutters, concrete for the driveway and walkways.💙
