Help Build the Future of Industrial Technology at Clear Creek Amana
Clear Creek Amana Community School District is seeking an Industrial Technology Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, working with both middle and high school students.
This is an exciting time to join our district. Thanks to voter support of the 2022 bond referendum, our high school is expanding with a new industrial technology classroom and learning space designed to grow hands-on programs and real-world skills.
We’re looking for an educator who is excited to:
🔹 Inspire students through hands-on learning
🔹 Help grow and shape industrial technology programs
🔹 Build a strong pathway from middle school exploration to high school career readiness
If you’re passionate about teaching technical skills and preparing students for the future, we’d love to hear from you.

👷💙 We were thrilled to present a check from
Chris Neal and to the Iowa City School District Student Build program helping support hands-on learning and the future of our skilled trades workforce.

Our talented instructors, Vincent Roth and John Reynolds, spent the day teaching students how to properly set a door. Even though it was only a temporary installation, the team worked hard to get the home buttoned up for winter—perfect timing as the cold weather rolls in! ❄️🏠

📸 Additional moments from the site:
Up on the roof, Instructor Vincent Roth and students installed the drip edge, gaining valuable real-world experience one step at a time.

We’re proud of these students and grateful for community partners who invest in their success. 💙🛠️

“The best word to describe the current demand for qualified electrical workers in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor is unprecedented. Our numbers have increased dramatically over the past five years,” said Jebediah Novak, training director for Cedar Rapids Electrical Apprenticeship Training & Education Trust.

This year alone, Novak said his programs have seen over a 25 percent increase in the number of newly indentured apprentices, or people who have just signed their formal apprenticeship agreement with a union, trade organization or employer.
