Your Community Foundation is looking for community members to serve on our Grants Committee! Each year, our Community Grant Cycle provides funding to support projects that make a meaningful impact across Allen County. Grants Committee members help review applications, learn about local projects, and participate in the process of deciding which programs receive funding.

Committee members serve a 3-year term and participate in 1-3 committee meetings each year during the grant review process. No grantmaking experience is needed, just an interest in learning about local needs and helping evaluate projects that benefit Allen County.

Applications for our Community Grant Cycle are officially open as of today! This is an opportunity for local nonprofits and organizations to apply for funding to support projects that create meaningful, measurable impact across our community.

Since 2012, we have invested more than $124,340 through this program alone into community impact projects, supporting initiatives that expand services, strengthen programs, and respond to local needs. We are proud to continue that commitment and look forward to seeing the ways organizations will build on that impact this year.

We encourage eligible organizations to apply and share how their work is making a difference in Allen County.

Your Community Foundation recently entered into a shared-space agreement with Allen Regional Transit (ART). While both organizations continue to operate independently, this partnership allows us to make more efficient use of our building while supporting both organizations dedicated to serving Allen County.

New Updates for Match Month 2026!

Match Month is our community-wide fundraising campaign supporting local nonprofits. We’ve made updates this year to make it easier to participate and benefit.

What’s new: • No minimum to participate • 50/50 structure (instead of 100% endowed) – 50% builds your endowment, 50% can be used for immediate needs • $50,000 Match Pool + additional opportunities
