Tailgates, Teachers, and Touchdowns!!! 🐾 We loved celebrating our teachers and staff today with a HOCO tailgate party, thanks to our monthly sponsor Tekton Timber Co. and The Hank Harley Robertson Family! 🏈 I know the teachers felt the LOVE!! 💕

We also wanted to thank Tony and Greg with Wings N' More Southwood Valley for not only working within our budget, but their generosity to make sure our teachers had enough and on our timeline!! We appreciate you!

And thankful for the Iola families who provided sweet treats!! It was a tailgate to remember!

Please join us in recognizing Iola Secondary’s,

“Mrs. Moore has endured her fair share of obstacles already in the first 6 weeks, but she has worked immensely to keep those things out of her control from impacting her students' learning, and has even gone above and beyond to arrange field trips for her robotics students and to create a fun, focused environment in her makeshift library classroom until her portable building is complete and ready. She has a passion for teaching, but more importantly she genuinely respects the students, their time, their effort, and wants them to learn and grow from every experience. Her experiences outside the classroom translate to real-world and industry insight for them which she is always willing to share and incorporate into her lessons. Most importantly, she is kind in every situation, no matter the frustration she is facing.”

Please help us in congratulating Olivia Moore!

Thank you to our sponsors Wal-Mart and the Wal-Mart Foundation for sponsoring the GOLD ⭐️ PEER Award Program!
