AVV’s Youth Advocates learned strategies for maintaining well-being, identifying personal outlets for stress, and self-reflection exercises at the Youth Mental Health Summit organized by the Los Angeles County Office of Violence Prevention and held at Jesse Owens Park.

Our Youth Ambassadors and staff joined , , , , and others in supporting the uplift of Black boys' education, empowerment, and leadership development.

This past weekend, Anti-Violence Ventures developed young men into young advocates, who will disrupt the cycles of violence within the Black community. Our first ever Youth Advocate Training Program brought the young brothers together for a 2-day experience filled with unique methods of learning. It was an honor to spend time with our new community advocates ✊🏾 thank you to all our facilitators, moderators, and congratulations to our participants.
