Happy 51st Independence ol WANTOK

On this September 16th, let us celebrate the spirit, strength, and identity of a nation blessed with extraordinary people, cultures, languages, traditions, and history.

No matter what challenges we face, let us never lose sight of who we are. Let us hold on to our GOD, that culture that makes us unique , look out for one another, and build a future worthy of those who came before us and those who will come after us.

Today, we celebrate not only our independence, but our people, our culture, our history, and our hope for the future.

🇵🇬 We are Papua New Guineans.
We are proud of who we are.
We are stronger together.
And our story continues.

Happy 51st Independence Day, Papua New Guinea! 🇵🇬❤️🖤💛

God bless Papua New Guinea and all Papua New Guineans, wherever we may be in the world.

Happy Easter!!!

“For God is not a fool, who gave what He cannot keep to gain what He cannot lose” (Jim Elliot)

As we observe this Holy Week, I urge you to do it with a profound sense of gratitude, and holy reverence.
For Christ-God’s sinless lamb, made the ultimate sacrifice for our atonement.
The Cross and the Grave should serve as reminders to us that, Jesus gave everything to the last drop of his blood on the cross: rose on the third day from the grave, conquered the power and grip of death and sin. He did it All just so we can know Him and His Father.

The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away..,
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more..,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save..,

Enjoy your Easter!

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

A GREAT RECOURSE

“This is the only gift I’ve ever received,” said one of them. “Thank you for giving me a place to stay,”exclaimed one of the students. “This is the best gift for this Christmas,” said another. “Thank you for being a family to us,” “Thank you for being a friend and family to be there for me when I lost my mom. A friend to cry to,”said another.

Helping people is NOT for EVERYBODY. Unless you have been there yourself and some strangers did you an unforgettable act of kindness. You Will know what helping strangers mean!

Simple gestures of kindness to another stranger is an act that will never be forgotten and even go a long way.

Gestures like opening your homes to the International students, foreign ministerial students, giving them a place at your dining tables, offering a room to stay for summer and winter, buying winter clothes or giving them a ride, the list goes on and on..,etc, Jesus said, the least you’ve done to them, you’ve done unto me.

Every year, the international community doesn’t have a family to spend Christmas with. Some of the students had lost their parents, siblings, relatives while studying here. Most of them are ministerial students who will be going back to the mission fields after they are done with studies. At times it’s difficult for them.

PNGCinUSA steps in to help only where the NEED is the MOST or Greatest. Most of the time, we deal with the situations with the very limited or personal resources we have at the time.

Christmas Lotu- is an annually held church service every Christmas weekend where most PNGinUSA families, community, Missionaries come and join us.

During that time we provide meals and housing to them.

In fact, we are ‘NOTHING’ without GOD. Apart from me we can do NOTHING.( Jn 15:5)

This year, 2025 On behalf of everyone and PAPUA NEW GUINEA COMMUNITY IN USA, I want to thank our families, supporters and sponsors for your generous hospitality and support to host this year’s events.

I want to thank especially Sooner Construction (The Browns family)-who has a longstanding relationship with the PNG Community for sponsoring the Christmas gifts, meals for our Christmas service this year, 2025.

Also, want to sincerely thank
Pastor Forsee and Noblesville Pilgrim Holiness Church for allowing us to use their facilities.

We wouldn’t have done that without your generous support and prayers.

If you are interested in helping and want to help buy a gift or sponsor a meal next year 2026, you can message us directly.

If you have any questions about what we do around the rest of the year, you can message us directly too.

Thank you for your unwavering support and prayers, that we were able to have a successful year,2025.

Happy New Year, 2026 and God Bless you richly.

A very Marry-Christmas, to you and your family from us. We pray and hope this Christmas may fill your heart full with joy and gratitude. May you find strength and wonder in God's presence.

I know it’s been a rough year for many; some of you have no family here, a place to sleep, or eat. For some, basically another time without your loved ones. Also, many of you have lost your family members; parents, siblings and relatives. It’s indeed a hard and difficult season.

As Garrison Keillor, puts it. "A lovely thing about Christmas is that it's compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together.”

Regardless of life’s challenges we face, let us reflect on the profound gift of God to us-the birth of His Son. He is the light in the darkness, the Hope for mankind-they shall call his name Emmanuel-God is with US!

Let us pause and think, what was God thinking; in those nine months of pregnancy, about the place in which His Son was soon to be birthed, the plight of the parents and the baby, the threats of Herod, the abrupt flight to Egypt. God must have been doing a lot of thinking! You bet!

No matter where we are, Christmas must always remind us how lucky we are- God thought about us! That COUNTS! Let us be grateful and choose to be grateful. Appreciate who we have and the little that is before us. Above all, let us be appreciative of the love of GOD that is always within us and around us.

May this Christmas fill you with joy, comfort, warmth, happiness, renewal, healing, and renewed strength and purpose.

We want to thank all our friends, sponsors and businesses for your continued support for this ministry. It is because of your support, we are able to share the love of God with those that NEED it the most in this season.

With that, May Our God richly bless you all. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, 2026!
