As we celebrate our final member of the KVF Scholars Class of 2026, we are proud to recognize a student whose compassion, determination, and commitment to serving others exemplify the values of our scholarship program.
It has been an honor highlighting this year's outstanding recipients, and today we are excited to introduce our final scholar.
Congratulations to Jazlene Oliveras, recipient of the 2026 Leah and Edward Kline Memorial Scholarship! π
Jazlene graduated from Northwest Career and Technical Academy (NWCTA) and has demonstrated perseverance, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping others throughout her academic journey.
As the daughter of an active-duty service member, she has grown up with a firsthand understanding of sacrifice, resilience, and service to others, qualities that have helped shape her character and future aspirations.
This fall, Jazlene will begin her college journey in San Antonio, Texas, where she plans to study Social Work and pursue her goal of becoming a therapist. She is passionate about supporting others through life's challenges and hopes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.
In addition to her academic achievements, Jazlene has been involved in extracurricular activities, participated in the Student Organization of Latinos (SOL), and earned her Girl Scout Gold Award, demonstrating her dedication to leadership, service, and community involvement.
Jazlene's compassion, determination, and commitment to helping others embody the spirit of the Leah and Edward Kline Memorial Scholarship, and we are honored to support her as she begins this exciting next chapter.
Please join us in congratulating Jazlene and all of our KVF Scholars Class of 2026! πππΊπΈ
