Did you notice this original detail?

During the 2024 Decorators’ Show House & Gardens, designers in these two bathrooms made the choice to keep the original pink tile—including the vintage ceramic accessories built right into the walls.

Known as tile-in bathroom accessories, these soap dishes, cup holders, and toothbrush holders became popular in the 1920s and ’30s, when bathroom fixtures were designed to be both beautiful and built to last.

Two completely different designs. One original detail preserved in both.
It’s a perfect example of what we love about Decorators’ Show House & Gardens: honoring the history of a home while giving it an entirely new point of view.

Together, we met the first year of our new three-year pledge, providing $225,000 to the Gregory S. Fehribach Center and $25,000 to the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Dawn Haut, M.D., CEO of Eskenazi Health Center, on a special recognition from Shalom Health Care Center. She was honored for her contributions to health care in the Indianapolis community as well as her longstanding partnership with and support of Shalom Health Care Center during her time at Eskenazi Health.

Dr. Haut was presented the honor by Leonardo Ortega, M.D., MPH, president and CEO of Shalom Health Care Center, at a recent event.
