Greater Indianapolis NAACP Unit #3053 Welcome to the official Page of the Greater Indianapolis branch of the NAACP.

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans. Our mission is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

The Dr. Eliza and Dr. Richard Grier Scholarship is part of the NAACP’s Inspire Initiatives, created to support outstanding and qualified students pursuing undergraduate degrees.

Made possible through the generosity of our donors, this scholarship helps advance educational equity and opens doors for students building their future in school, work, and life.

If you’re ready to take that next step, we encourage you to apply. naacp.org/scholarships
