Red went to an emergency vet over the weekend … he has been found to have Stage 2 kidney disease which may have been complicated by prescribed medications. And he’s only 5 years old!!! 😭😭😭He was very dehydrated and in pretty bad shape. We are still trying to figure out what caused the severe crash as not all test results are in. Red is getting better with IV fluids and is recovering but more tests are likely…. As are increasing costs.
Red has the most perfect disposition and is the sweetest boy; everyone at the vet clinic has fallen in love with him. We are currently looking at a roughly $4000 bill and really need help as our bank account has been decimated with medical bills of late.
